I have ran blogs before this one and it comes with drawbacks as it does positives. You have the change to express what ever you are feeling for all people to read who share a common interest. You can write it how ever you want with no set directions or what to write about. Some drawbacks that come with it are it is very very time consuming to run your own blog! you have too put everything out and check it all the time for feedback on what you have written or shown on your blog. You have to accept the negatives along with the positives to create a better blog which is also a positive. Another draw back is every simple mistake weather it is grammar, spelling, to punctuation the whole internet can see it when looking at the blog. Once the post is on there you don't want to take it down from how long it might have taken to create the post in the first place but it also can be taken as the person is illiterate and doesn't know all the right information. Keeping readers entertained and wanting to read more to keep their attention can be quite hard to do. Staying consist about your certain topic can be a struggle to do also. You cant write one day about your thoughts on a good book to how much you love your dog. That would loose the interest of readers for not sticking to one general topic you said the blog would be about to something completely irrelevant.  Another thing is that blogs are ran "live" as you type everytime you type something directly onto the blog it appears as you type it. Yes there are drawbacks to blogging but isn't there drawbacks to everything?
